This story is originally found in The Holy Injil, in the book of Luke, Surah 22 Ayat 66 through 71. Included below is the original text in Greek, followed by a modern English translation.
66 At daybreak the assembly of people’s elders—head priests and scholars of religion—convened. Isa was led before this high council, 67 and they demanded, “If you are the Messiah, tell us.”
But he replied, “If I tell you, you’ll never believe it. 68 And if I ask you a question, you’ll never respond. 69 But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right of Allah Almighty!”
70 They all said, “So, you are the Son of the Most High?!”
He replied to them, “You said it. I am.”
71 And they responded, “Why do we need other witnesses? We’ve heard it ourselves, straight from his own mouth!”
